Women's Cross Country has Strong Showing at Championship

Goodells, MI – The Women’s Cross Country team saw all five members run a strong race, including four new personal records during the MCCAA & Region XII Championship Race. Running in the toughest region in the Nation (seven nationally ranked teams) the Timberwolves saw great success and improvements on both an individual level as well as team result.

The team finished 11th out of 18 teams at the NJCAA Region XII Division II meet and 12th in the MCCAA Championship.

Up Next

Kendra Couturier (Lake Leelanau/Lake Leelanau St. Mary’s) and Sydney Feagan (Harbor Springs/St. Michaels) both qualified for the NJCAA DII National Championship which will take place in Fort Dodge, Iowa on November 8th. This will be Couturier’s second trip to the National Championship having competed at it last November.
