NCMC Women’s Cross Country Competes in the Bay Norse Invite

Escanaba, MI - The Women’s Cross Country team traveled North to the Upper Peninsula to compete at the Bay Norse Invite on Saturday, September 13th. The Timberwolves were led by Kendra Couterier (Lake Leelanau/Lake Leelanau St. Mary), who landed a top-10 finish out of 45 runners; achieving a 5k time of 21:47. Her teammate, Sydney Feagan (Harbor Springs/St. Michael's Academy), didn’t fall too far behind, as she finished in a close 13th place, just 21 seconds behind Couterier.
