The Timberwolves Sweep Montcalm CC to end the 2025 Regular Season

Sydney, MI - The Timberwolves (15-11, 6-6) traveled to Montcalm CC (6-19, 1-11) to compete in their last match of the 2025 volleyball regular season. The outcome of this match would determine the team's finish in the MCCAA Northern Conference as well as their seeding for post-season play. With the win they clinched 3rd place.

The Timberwolves got out to a hot start and never looked back. Set one was a dominant victory, 25-15. Set two was closer, with NCMC taking it 25-20. Set three was more of the same, with the most dominant set yet - winning 25-13. This completed the 3-0 sweep.

Statistical Leaders

• Abby Hicks (Leland/Leland) had a well-rounded match with seven digs, 14 assists, and four service aces.
• Chloe Winchell (Freeland/Freeland) led the offense with 12 kills.
• Annie Grew (Grand Ledge/Grand Ledge) had eight kills and eight digs.

Next up

This win locks the Timberwolves into the North three seed for the Great Lakes District B Championship. The Timberwolves will travel to Grand Rapids Community College to compete in the double elimination bracket beginning November 6th. More details to be posted to www.ncmctimberwolves.com
