LeBlanc Sets New 3-point record in Loss to Kellogg CC

Battle Creek, MI – It was a competitive game for the Timberwolves (2-9) trip to the Kellogg Community College Bruins (3-9) gym. Turnovers and missed free throws were the Achilles heel for the Timberwolves (2-9) today as they lost to Kellogg CC by a final score of 66-61.

Statistical Leaders
  • Sophomore Ceara LeBlanc (Brimley/Brimley) broke the school record for most 3-pointers made in a game when she converted on 7. She did this on 58% shooting. LeBlanc is already the Timberwolves career record holder in 3-point field goals. 21 points in a single game is LeBlanc’s new career high at NCMC.  
  • Cadence Cullen (St. Ignace/LaSalle) recorded a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
  • Arika Taylor (Joliet, IL/Joliet Central) had 5 assists and surpassed the 100-assist mark in her career. The Timberwolves assist leader now has 103 assists in her career.

  • The Timberwolves will enjoy a holiday break and then return to action in the New Year when they travel to Southwestern Michigan College on January 3rd. The match up against the Roadrunners is the last non-conference game of the season before the team starts the challenge of the MCCAA Northern Conference.
