Men's Basketball Can't Overcome Powerful GRCC
Grand Rapids, MI – The Timberwolves (1-7) travelled to the Raiders (8-2) to play for the second time this non-conference season. A strong defensive showing by the Timberwolves held the Raiders below the average points, but the shots didn’t fall enough on the offensive end to take the win as the Timberwolves lost 67-80.
Statistical Leaders
- Rylan Matelski (Gaylord/St.Mary) led the Timberwolves scoring with 16 points.
- Thomas Conzelmann (Frankenmuth/Frankenmuth) had a double-double pulling in 10 rebounds and adding 10 points.
- Ryan Ehlert (Pembine, WI/Northland College) had 13 points.

The Timberwolves will travel to the UP for the Terrace Bay Hotel Holiday Classic hosted by Bay College in Escanaba on Friday, December 12th and Saturday, December 13th. While in Escanaba they will face Glen Oaks CC (6-3) and #14 Milwaukee Area Technical College (7-3).
